New Zealand 2014 – Day 4

Today is the day we made our trip to the South Islands. Can’t wait to see clear skies and snow cap mountains! We decided to take the Bluebridge Ferry across. There are mainly two ferry companies that we can take but i chose the Bluebridge Ferry as it is much cheaper. Moreover, if you book in advance and purchase online (http://www.bluebridge.co.nz), the prices are much cheaper. However, do take note that it is non-refundable.

Though the stay in Kaikoura was short, we had a great time. This is our first time having close encounters with the seals and llama. Our accomodation was also very comfortable and clean with ample heating.

Accomodation: Dolphin Lodge

Address: 15 Deal Street Kaikoura

Price: NZD 69 per night for a Double Room with private bathroom
