Every year, there will be an Annual International Spring Festival. A unique, vibrant and innovative annual event that the people of Palmerston North can proudly claim as their own way of celebrating the diversity of cultures. This event attracts both local residents and visitors to the city. This will be my second time going to this event. As usual, it never fails to deliver. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

There are many activities to enjoy at the Festival. Visitors can visit cultural displays and exhibitions, play fun games, enjoy performances from different countries, and taste international cuisine from our students’ famous food stalls. There will be famous Japanese drum team performance, music, martial arts and traditional dances performed by IPC students.

Where: IPU New Zealand Campus,  57 Aokautere Drive, Palmerston North, Admission is free.

This festival is definitely worth your visit if you are in the area. It definitely has all the vibes of a traditional Japanese Festival. All the Japanese students make a lot of effort to make this event successful. It is 100% authentic and it feels like we were in Japan somehow.

After the festival, we stopped by Palmerston North Town for a short stop before proceeding to Foxton Beach.
